Question for anyone who has lived in Hill College House.

I know this is a random question, but do the floor lounges at Hill have sinks or any other source of water that is drinkable?? Also, does the dining hall have a fountain machine that has water? Also, what are some of the dining staples (things that are there everyday ie. salad bar, fruit bar etc.) at the Hill Dining hall?

PS: I know i said question in the title, but i had a few more. Thanks

they have sinks, yes

dining hall machine absolutely has water (have you ever seen one that didn’t?)

salad bar’s there every day, breads, fruit selection, sandwiches, rice + beans, soups…

can you get water without swiping your penncard for entry to the dining hall? or is the tap water drinkable?

i think the tap water is tolerable

but you could buy a brita and keep it in your fridge, if you get one

or in the communal fridges in the lounge

meal swipes get you 4 or 5 bottles of water at the express. You could always do that. Seems wasteful, but most people would have over 20 meals left over at the end of the year if they didnt do this.

They actually just replaced that and put a water machine outside the swipe-in area int he dining hall, so you should be good. It was covered with a bag at random times when dining was closed last year.

tap water is drinkable but doesn’t taste great, but is totally fine with a brita.
