I applied RD, but very early in the process because while Harvard is my first choice, I selectively applied and got in to some EA schools (Chicago, Georgetown) to have a safety net while recognizing the greater probability that I wouldn't get into Harvard. My application was submitted early in the fall and I actually had my interview in the middle of October. By having my application submitted earlier, would this allow for more time for review and perhaps a greater chance of admission -- considering my interview went extremely well?

Something tells me that that isn't going to help you. Even though you applied several months early for RD, Harvard was busy sorting through EA applicants up until December 15. If they do make a note of when you applied, it will probably show demonstrated interest, but I doubt they would really keep track of that sort of thing. Your application was probably sitting in a bin in Byerly until 2005.

I don't think getting it in early either helped or hurt.

The only kind of school where getting the app in early might help is a " rolling admissions" school.

A question, though: have you kept them up to date on your ECs, etc since that time? Any new prizes, awards, achievements, etc. If not, you should supplement your earlier submission.

I have not sent that in. Our school automatically fills out our mid-year reports for us and tells us after they've been sent. If I send it in on Monday, will it be added to my file and receive consideration?

wait..should we send stuff in that we did recently..?..like qualifying for nationals debate this yr..and pdate on the student poverty outreach project..stuff like that?..like volunteering that I did..and other clubs and team stuff?

Sure - if its significant.
