Question for CC'ers about June 2nd Exam

Well as of right now, I am almost positive I have gotten 760+ for the math, but anywhere from 580-620 (UGHH) for both the writing and the reading. This is my first time taking the test. However, I still obviously have time to cancel my test and take it again in Sept. and Oct. to improve both CR and W and finish my essay. Do you think that's smart? or should I suck it up and keep my scores?

keep your scroes becuase most colleges look at your highest score for each category. So if you get a 700 reading next time and a 700 math the 760 from today will be viewed as well as the 700 reading score

Thanks a lot, I was thinking that but from your knowledge would you say that these schools superscore?

Umich
Umiami
Indiana U Honors
Boston U
Boston College

I know UMich takes highest single and judging by your list, that's probably your first choice.

Well yea, that and Boston College. So colleges are completely blind to my lower scores if i score higher?

Also what about for transferring?

i would tell u to def go ahead and get your scores, if you got at least a 700 on math, you are in good shape. they really do take the highest single score from each sub. and combine, they are blind to your lowest score in the context that they do not count them period. if you are confiendet you got at least a 700 on math and reasonably ok on the reading and writing and remember writing doesn't count to most of the schools you are applying to, then i would advise you to keep your scores. good luck.........u did a lot better than me, i totally bombed the math for sure but since am applying early have no choice but to suck it up and keep these scores:(

also sat is not offered in sept but it is on oct.
