Did you find tests 4 and beyond harder than tests 1 to 3? I just completed #5 with a score range of 1710-1940, and I definitely found #'s 4 and 5 harder than 1 to 3. I think it is because #'s 1 to 3 were actual, administered tests.

By the way, are Collegeboard PSAT's usually as hard as the later tests in the blue book? I am going to take the PSAT in about two weeks, as a junior.

I can answer the second part definitively: No. I studied for the PSAT/NMSQT using the Blue Book, and was dismayed by the difficulty of the later tests. I live in NJ and just got my National Merit Semifinalist App today
The tests in the Blue Book are a great practice for the PSAT, but the actual test is a good deal easier. It was refreshing when I took it, actually. Hope this helped. Good luck!

Ok thanks
…now I won’t feel as discouraged about my math score because the max of the score range was a 660 when I usually score at least a 70 on the PSAT math

One other thing: When do students usually receive the practice packet for the PSAT? The one with the sample questions and the practice test? A week before the real PSAT?
