The U Chicago website explicitly states that SAT II's are not required. Raise your hand if you sent them or are sending them anyway. I'm wondering myself what to do....

Both my kids sent their SAT-IIs, but neither one used Score Choice. It was easier to just send all scores to all schools. I have no idea if the scores were considered. My recollection is that a few years ago when S1 applied, an admissions person said that if SAT-II scores were sent, they were not included in the packet of materials sent to the reader and committee.

If you have taken SAT subject tests and scored well; then, I suggest sending your scores. It would look great if you took them in the your prospective major and did well. It can only add to your application. I took them but am not sending them because I don’t want to waste the money- I didn’t feel confident during the test. Hope I have helped.

I sent mine in (French 600, USH 650, Math II 740) but they probably didn’t make a difference.

Thanks for sharing! I think I will send mine, you never know what might help…
