Question for Girls

ew.... ppl who think they are the coolest thing on the planet are the last ppl id ever want to date... id rather be single for ever

I guess the real answer to xSam42's question is.. depends on the girl.

Girls do seem to go after the *******s and then they cry when they catch him having a threesome with their best friends. What did you think would happen? Are girls that stupid?

um, xsam42x, how old are you? 10? 5? the question "if you prefer confidence or lack of confidence" is similar to the question "if you prefer good-looking or bad-looking". i don't really understand why anyone here bothers to give a serious answer at all.

the thing is.. most girls arent looking for that serious relationship and just say that they are so they dont seem like sluts. It's easier to make the guy seem like an ******* when he was one to begin with. Im not saying im right.. i just thought of that hah

or maybe girls mix up a guy's cockiness with confidence, which is attractive to most girls at first

i like someone who is sweet adn kind, confident in himself but not arrogant or mean to others.

and i'm being honest here. my last bf was so insecure, it totally ruined our relationship!

"Some confidence. My boyfriend is (secretly) very self conscious - although it may not seem like he is. He constantly needs me to tell him that I love him and he is very insecure if I am out with other boys. Guys with low confidence seem to not trust you as much as those that do and believe me, not being trusted is very frustrating when I did nothing wrong!"

That's not some confidence... that's no confidence.

Confidence, without a doubt. However, don't confuse cockiness with confidence. I, unfortunately, have been sometimes been attracted to cocky guys who I thought were just extremely confident. However, shy guys do have an advantage; they are not big flirts and are more serious and mature in nature.

not too insecure but not too cocky either I guess would be right in the middle

cocky guys are usually insecure...comfortable guys are confident

I love it when my textbooks just present their endless information to me directly and boldly instead of vaguely going around in circles and being unsure.
Btw, what the heckamole is a guy?

"Confidence, without a doubt. However, don't confuse cockiness with confidence. I, unfortunately, have been sometimes been attracted to cocky guys who I thought were just extremely confident. However, shy guys do have an advantage; they are not big flirts and are more serious and mature in nature."

Wow... I agree with EVERY WORD that you said. I'm also going to add that there's a difference (sometimes) between shy guys and guys with low self-esteem. Some guys are simply quiet and less likely to expose their real selves... but are completely comfortable with who they are. They're confident, but just don't open themselves up. On the other hand, there are some very outgoing/"cocky" guys who are, in reality, completely insecure. They use their "cockiness" to mask their true insecurities.

^ You couldn't be any more right, LesOs!

tons of confidence its okay for a guy to be a little cocky

It depends on the girl. Girls are not creatures that you can impress across the board by being confident or playing sports or even doing backflips through flaming hoops. Any girl worth having will not be impressed by being treated like she's just one specimen of a cookie-cutter breed. Sigh.

Guys that are confident in whatever their passion is. they don't have to be confident in everything.

I'm interested in guys who don't ask stupid questions.

i agree with you rockandrolltime, that is soo annoying.
i should know, ive had experience seeing it with my prom date. :-/

i like guys who are confident, not cocky, and arent awkward to talk to.
