Hi,
I'm a bit confused about the textbooks i need for math 124.
MyUW says I need these:

MATH 124 2 P/S V.1 CALCULUS SINGLE VARIABLE (CUST STEWART
RESPONSE CARD RF LCD RADIO FREQUENCY TURNING TECHNOLOGIES
SG T/A V.1 CALCULUS SINGLE VARIABLE (CUS STEWART
SSM T/A SINGLE VARIABLE CALCULUS: EARLY STEWART

what does 2 P/S mean?
why do we need the RF LCD radio thing?
and for the last two books, what does the SG and the SSM stand for?
and if anybody has the ISBN numbers of these books, I would greatly appreciate it :D
Thanks,

WHOA You need clickers for Math 124 now!? That’s the radio frequency turning thing. If you google that entire line, then click on images, you’ll see what it looks like. I thinkt hey generally sell for around $40(???), but see if you can buy one from a current student. There are different types though, so be careful.

I think SG is Study Guide, SSM … Student Study Manual? Not quite sure. I know I got through Math 12X series with only the textbook, no study guide or anything.

I don’t have the ISBN numbers… but go on Amazon, type in Calculus Single Variable Stewart and whatever edition it is.

Yeah, SG is the study guide and SSM is the solutions manual.

thanks a lot guys!
what about 2 P/S??

oh…and btw…did you guys use the custom UW calc book or is the standard Stewart Calculus 6th edition fine for the class???
and also…what is the RF thing used for in class???
thanks alot
