Hey RSI Alumni/Rickoids!
I’m applying for RSI this year, but I’m having some trouble writing about my research topics. More specifically, there are a lot of things I’m interested in researching, but I’m not sure how I’d be viewed if I wrote about researching something I don’t show/have experience in. (for example, if I wrote about how I’d genuinely like to perform research in astronomy, but I have no background/awards/ECs in astronomy)
I’m currently in AP Bio and AP Chem, and I’d like to perform research in biology, but I have no outside accolades/research/ECs in those, especially compared to some other applicants who would like to research in bio or chem.
I was just wondering if any of you guys have any advice about that situation.
I would post this in the RSI 2016 thread, but I didn’t think anyone would see it.
