Question for sbuadmissions

In deciding admittance, will SBU Admissions substitute the SAT Writing Score for the SAT Reading score if the writing score is say 50 points better? In 2 attempts, I can't get my SAT reading into the 500's, however my writing is above 500 and my math is in the mid 600's. HS average is 89.

Unfortunately, no.

they only look at the critical reading and math sections of the SAT I for admission, however, your writing score along with your critical reading score, combined, if high enough can help you waiver writing 101 and take writing 102
