<p>I think I received my Stanford ID with the verification that they had received my application. So, yes, your ID # comes after you submit your supplement, but no, you don't need it for the mailing labels. I didn't include it on my mailed in items and everything arrived safely. Just make sure to include your full name, address, birth date, and Common App ID #.</p>
<p>Here's the thing, I gave an envelope with stamps and mailing label to my teacher (he's finishing the letter of rec over break). Should I send him an e-mail telling him to include all of the information you just stated?</p>
<p>Why not? :) It doesn't hurt to have it on there.</p>
<p>If you printed out the common app forms while you were logged on to common app, your common app ID should be on the bottom of the forms. I think they need this to match your recommendations with your application.</p>
