question for those who got accepted

hi so how long after your status went from 'in review' to decision made?

My daughters applied 10 weeks ago …and nothing. I find it odd because they get accepted into more selective schools already.

Son applied in October and was accepted in early December.

My D applied in early September and heard early January. HTH!

Hi Everyone, just wanted to provide some insight into our process.

Each file moves at varying speeds, the major to which a student applies has a great deal of impact on the timeline. Health science applicants take longer to review as they are usually “looked at” many times before a final decision is rendered. For these programs we request first quarter grades; if they are not already here a further delay occurs as we request them. In addition, a student can apply early decision and be notified by the first week of December as long as they had applied before Nov. 1. Other rolling admissions candidates will hear in the order of application receipt.

This year has no doubt presented some challenges with processing of transcripts and other materials. The Common App and Naviance systems have gone under significant technical revisions which has delayed us quite a bit.

I strongly encourage anyone with questions regarding a delay or with questions about their file status to contact us for more insight.
