<p>How long was it? I'm afraid mine might be too short. One was approximately 3/4 of a page, but outlined everything well. The other two were 1/2 pages but again, were good in outlining strengths,talents, and extracurriculars. I'm just afraid that short rec letters may look poor. Am I overreacting?</p>
<p>mmm I only saw my teacher recommendations, not my counselor’s. Both of my teacher LORs were a page long. If your teachers were able to describe your character enough in a short letter, I don’t see why you should worry about the length.</p>
<p>i only saw one; it was really nice, and it was about a page. tech. a little less cause of the headers from the official school stationary format thing.</p>

<p>One from Head Teacher - a page and 7 lines or sth - but not strong
One from Counselor - Almost a page - but not strong either - almost the same with HT’s
One from my LA class - <em>5 LINES</em> - but good</p>
<p>I think the standard one is about 3/4 of a page. Yours are in good length. I ask one of my top choice school and he said that they concern more on the content. Short one with excellent writing is just fine.</p>
