<p>How do I change my MyUVA password? I hate typing in these random letters everytime..</p>

<p>Can someone give me any direction or drop a link?</p>

<p>well even if you change it you still have to make it conform to those strict pw rules so anything you have will be a random set of letters/numbers/punctuation. i would suggest making an acronym rather than trying to make up a new one.</p>

<p>if youre really set on changing it, you have to change it for all of the accounts listed on the top part of this page

or else you will run into problems at orientation when you cant log in cause you only changed your email one/etc.</p>

<p>Instead of making a new password with a random set of characters, try making sense out of the current password. The way I remember my password was make a sentence with a word representing each character. It's a strange way to remember a password, but it saves time on making that password that maybe rejected.</p>

<p>wait a second...i logged into my email today and changed the password to something more coherent. does that mean only the email password changed? should i just change it back?</p>

<p>GIMEurSTRESballZ, how did you change the password? If you only used the "resetting your important passwords" link hazelorb's link gives, then it just changes the email, home directory, and Unix cluster password. You can finish it off by taking the eservices link and change the password to the new one.</p>

<p>Haha I already memorized my password from typing it all the time...but it is such a complicated password.</p>
