Question from Biochemistry Transfer Student

Hey everyone-I am a premed Biochemistry/Music major transferring in from Emory University. I just have a few questions.

A little history about my freshman year (I am transferring in to begin sophomore yr at washu). I took organic chemistry+intro bio both with lab etc, and a 5 on the AP Chemistry exam.

So, my question now is, where do i go from here?

I am premed, so i suppose the next thing in line is physics. ANy recommendations regarding the honors vs. basic physics sequence? I was pretty good at AP calculus when i took it, I got a 5 on that exam.

Also, has anyone taken biochemistry? Is it a dreadful amount of work? I am definitely willing to work as hard as necessary, just looking to see how killer it might be to take it with physics.

Thank you for your help! I can't wait to visit WashU this weekend!

-DS

bump bump....

Tranferring to Wash U---why? Did you not like Emory?

i've heard that the "honors" chem class is sometimes less work than the regular one, but i think that's mainly because they're less worried about teaching the basics. it's probably much harder work; there just happens to be less of it.
