i took spanish 1 & 2 in middle school, so i took spanish 3 in 9th grade and AP spanish in 10th. for most normal students at our highschool though (people who weren't offered spanish in middle school), it's mostly juniors that take AP spanish. they go from spanish 3 to AP spanish or they jump from spanish 2 to AP spanish if they think they can handle it. i think it was because we had an easy teacher, though.

our spanish teacher made it seem like the AP exam was IMPOSSIBLE. she would lecture us about how "even college students will have trouble with this." but when the AP exam came around, it wasn't as bad as she made it seem, and she even admitted that. but yea, i think it's ridiculous they're taking it out of your school. :/ really sucks that your teacher is doubting everyone. you should emphasize that there are students who are WILLING to put in the time & effort to make it that far. seriously, idk why she thinks it's so impossible. it's dumb.
