<p>How competitive is the hotel school for ED? is it very very competitive?
also, what are some factors that would help for admissions? i am planning on taking the hotel operations summer program! do you think this will help not just for getting into the college but just for a general experience?</p>

ED for hotel school is fairly competitive.

I was a bit confused after looking at this: ED accepts 17.79%, while RD accepts 23.38 - however, I’m not sure how many were deferred then accepted. The total admit rate was 22.13%.<br>
Work experience is very important for the Hotel School. However, I was accepted without having real paid work experience. Instead, I focused on my volunteer work and how that reflected my passion for the industry. If you have the time and can find a job, I would highly recommend it as 87% have worked in the industry!!!
And, as I already mentioned to you, CUSC is great as just a general experience, but I think it helps a lot in Hotel School admissions as well. Quite a few of my CUSC friends were accepted this year!
