Hey! I was wondering that if I take those SATII subject tests on October 10th, will I be ready for Duke's ED deadline on November 1st? Thanks for the help

yes. ~~~~~

You can even take them in November and still make the deadline IIRC. I did 3 years ago and got in.

Any tests in November (ACT, SAT, SAT II) is accepted.

and I’m going to send it along with just an ACT + writing… Oh wait. I can send just a biology SATII test and not a horribly low scored SAT that I took while I was in the 9th grade right? I’ve heard some mixed responses about being able to send a subject test without your SAT scores

^i’m not EXTREMELY clear about how score choice works, but i believe that is the case.

Duke requires you send in all tests that you have taken. many top schools do not want you to follow score choice now.

^^^Since when? I know they superscore though.

Straight from the collegeboard section on sending scores
“DUKE UNIVERSITY has indicated that it considers your highest section scores across all SAT test dates that you submit. Only your highest section scores will be considered as part of the final admissions decision. Each time you submit scores, DUKE UNIVERSITY will update your record with any new high scores.”

Whereas Stanford who requires all scores says
“STANFORD UNIVERSITY has indicated that it considers all SAT scores in its review process and requires that you submit all SAT scores from all test dates.”

Well living in the south, I have taken the ACT and want to send that only and a subject test in the major i’m going in (biology)… but I did take the SAT going into my 10th grade year just to try it. Surely I don’t have to send that one in too?

I don’t think so. I’ve seen a lot of people on here who said they submitted their ACT and SAT II scores

^i did that.
