Question: Is everyone's admit letter the same?

Do they send the same letter to every admitted student? Or do they give the same one to most of them and reserve special letters for the spectacular/exceedingly interesting applicants? Just curious.

Congrats to those who got in! :)

No, I think everyone’s letter is the same. There might be a handwritten note on your paper acceptance materials though (or so I’ve heard)!

All electronic letters are the same (I haven’t heard of a school at which they are not).

I don’t know anything about handwritten extras for paper copies, but I guess we’ll find out. Congrats!

^ I’ve heard that Brown’s are individualized (they tell you why you got in).

When you get your official letter of admission, there will likely be a handwritten note from either your regional rep or another admissions officer, highlighting an outstanding aspect of your application and congratulating you. :)

^ That is really, really, really cool! I can’t wait to get it now haha

Wow, its really lovely that they do that. I’m a sucker for that kind of stuff…

Me too haha! I’m excited to see what they wrote. :D

Wow. I’ve got packages from a couple of schools and none of them had hand-written notes, so I’m really excited about the one from Stan!~

Lol looks like I’m not the only one who can’t sleep…I keep re-reading my acceptance email just to make sure it’s real XD

Though there is an extra paragraph on International students acceptance letters saying that if you did not apply for finAid, don’t expect any at any point in the next 4 years, but if you did apply, you will find out soon.

Both me and my friend got in. I’m international, she is an american citizen!
