Hi all, I am new to the community!

I am currently an Junior at UMass Amherst, and I am a Philosophy major. I intend to also get a minor in CS and Studio Art. I have recently become interested in Industrial Design and I think I want to go to graduate school for it. I have a couple questions:
1. What do Industrial Design graduate programs look for in candidates?
2. Will I be at a disadvantage because I am not an Art major?
3. Besides getting a minor in Studio Art, what can I do now to increase my chances of getting accepted?
4. Do companies generally give Industrial Design internships to people with non art related majors?

Thanks so much guys!
