Question(not admissions related!) for Ben

Hi Ben.

I've been thinking about this for a while, and the topic I'm thinking about is whether my screenname is good? Some one recently PM'ed me, and suggested that as College Adcoms are on this site, it is a bad idea to have my type of s/n.

My question is, do you adcom's ever consider what we have said on this site if you were to look at our application(next year)? I don't want to change my s/n, since i've got a bit of identity now.

Just wanted your opinion.

um.. i may be missing something.. what's so sad about your s/n?

and.. i don't think having an acceptable s/n on a random (but yea, really popular) website is a requirement for college =)

I suspect that his s/n is his full name.

I suspect that sonar might be right.

heh, mine's my full name (w/ middle initial)...
I never thought of it that way b4. maybe i should watch i'm saying more carefully

and mine is the title of a book that is the parody to Il Cortegiano (The Courtier), you know, that Renaissance book that tells you all the right things to do to be a perfect gentleman.

Except my book instructs that to become a perfect gentleman, you must learn "how to deceive and flatter, and sit hours in front of the mirror." Of course. 8-)

Hiya there neighbor who lives in the room next to me. I don't think ADcoms will consider your AIM screenname. Geez. :)

Fear not, we don't include anything that happens here (or on the blogs) when considering your application. These sites are supposed to be for you guys, NOT for us.

LOL Young! That's it, I really should get a new s/n.

*Young lives in the dorm right next to me, and his speciality is annoying my roommate.
