Question on a response from NYU Undergrad office

Long story short, I submitted my application and writing supplement via common app around 11:30 PM on December 31st, 2013. Around 12 PM on January 1st, I received an e-mail from NYU stating:

From the Common Application website, we can see that at one point, you considered applying for admission to New York University. Please know that as of early morning, December 31, you did not successfully submit your Common Application to NYU. If you would like to be considered for admission to any of our campuses in New York, Abu Dhabi, or Shanghai, you must go back to your Common Application account and successfully submit your application and NYU Writing Supplement to NYU. A receipt for your application fee does not mean you have successfully submitted your Common Application to NYU. You must check your submission status on the Common Application website to ensure that both your application and NYU Writing Supplement have been submitted.

P.S. You do not have to respond to this email. If you submitted your Common Application after December 31, you can disregard this reminder, though your should still check the status of your submission by visiting the Common Application website.

Am I considered to be disregarded for this email? For the heads up, common app states that I submitted on January 1st (even though I did it at 11:30 at night the day before)

Email NYU.

This happened to me too. If you submitted it 11:30 pm PST on Dec 31st then it would have been submitted Jan 1st EST. I had the same problem and I emailed NYU and they gave me this reply: “If you submitted your app after 9am eastern standard time on December 31st then you can disregard this email. Thanks again for applying!”

If you submitted it after 6 am PST then you can disregard this email.

Thank you so much. I finally feel relaxed knowing that
