Question on accepting offers

<p>I still have not decided between two offers. I need to visit one of the schools and time is getting short since both require a decision by May 1st. Is there a problem with putting down the non-refundable deposit for both but decline one afterwards? I know I will lose my deposit to one of the schools. </p>

<p>I wouldn't normally consider this but I really would like to see the second school before making up my mind.</p>

<p>Try contacting the admissions offices and asking for an extension to the May 1st deadline.</p>

<p>Its allowed. My cousin put down a deposit to 3 or 4 schools and didn’t decide where he was going until a few days before classes started. But you can ask for an extension as well.</p>
