I currently do not live with my parents, but I am deemed a dependent. So i filled with my moms taxes. So the address I used for me was the people who have no relation and that i live with address. Now my real mom is worried about what the government will think when her taxes do not match my address. What should I do?

My application is held up on her signature so, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

Not a problem. You do not have to be living with your parent to be considered a dependent for FAFSA purposes. My son has not lived at home for several years but is still considered a dependent (under 24) so on FAFSA it would show different addresses for him to ours.

Ok. Because on the application it only allows my address. With that being said, can I go ahead and have my mum submit her signature even though i dont live with them? Thanks You SO Much.
