<p>I am applying for the College of Engineering at PSU and I have a feeling I would be on the bubble with the rest of the applicants (3.5 W GPA, 1370/2080 SAT). If I happen not to get into the Engineering school but my scores are still good enough for PSU in general, can I be accepted to main, not for engineering, and go in undecided? or am I completely rejected from PSU if I don't get into engineering?</p>

<p>I believe that if you are declined for engineering, they will not recheck your stats for undecided. If you are rejected, you can call and admissions will let you know if you can go undecided or summer for admittance. The Penn State Undergraduate Admissions page on Facebook is a great place for admission questions. They respond usually the same day. I would also send them an email just to make sure.</p>
