Question on AP Computer Science A and study schedule

How hard is AP Computer Science A in respect to other classes?

and is this schedule too harsh, considering I do about 2 hours of sport 4 times a week?

AP Calc AB (1st semester)
AP Calc BC (2nd semester)
AP Computer Science
AP Physics B
AP Psychology
On level language arts
On level government/politics

THANKS FOR YOUR SUGGESTIONS!!!!!!!!

Nah. That’s totally doable. Psych will be a breeze. On level gov will also be a breeze.

Calculus will probably have lots of homework, but to most kids it comes pretty fast. Physics will require a lot of thinking.

But overall, I think it’s definitely possible. :)

It depends. I found CS A to be really, really easy (never had done programming before but I learned Java during the summer before the class because I waivered in) and I even just took the AB exam (5) without great difficulty.

On the flip side, I had friends who took the class already tell me that it was the most ridiculously confusing and hard class they took.

But how hard is the class in reality? Probably somewhere in the middle. I guess it all depends on how good you are programming and approaching such problems.

what’s “on-level” mean? I’m gonna assume that means normal.

Easily doable. As said, AP Psych is not difficult nor is AP Calculus. Physics B might be a little tougher. Practice good time management, but I would make sure you aren’t exhausted by your sports. Swim was brutal to my grades second term. (Nearly all A+ or A dropped to low A or A-.)

Uh, your schedule looks ok but YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE BOTH CALC AB AND BC IN THE SAME YEAR!!! (at least not the exams) Not sure if you knew that but its on the collegeboard website.

i know that puma, but my school offers it like that…per semester…im only taking the BC exam though.
