Question on Colleges Overlooking High School Freshman Grades

So my friend did horrendously (as in you CCers would never imagine this happening to yourself) in freshman year. Recently we found out that there are some colleges that look only at sophomore, junior and senior grades.

Can you guys list any of these schools besides the UCs, Stanford, Princeton and UMichigan?

How would an Asian-American girl who goes to an inner-city lower-tier magnet school (majority African-American) on the east coast, who is captain of her softball team, in several clubs and volunteer positions, with work experience, fare at any of these schools? Her GPA after the first semester of senior year being 3.75?

Her GPA isn't that high, and even lower if they were to consider her freshman year. Are there any schools that overlook freshman year entirely that would accept this girl?

Michigan does

I already mentioned Michigan, any others?
