<p>Are the experimental sections normally harder than the rest of the test or easier?
I remember taking a practice SAT math test and my instructor said that they were generally tougher. Also I took the test on May 5, 2012 and I had 4 math sections. does anybody know which one was experimental?</p>
<p>From my experience, experimental section is usually about the same level as the other sections, so you can’t determine which one was experimental based on question difficulty alone. Since you had 4 math sections, one of them was experimental. You can probably determine based on how many questions it had (since math always has a fixed # of questions).</p>
