1 year is required for Visual/Performing Arts.

If I take an AP Music Theory class & the exam (and pass the exam, of course), will it count as the year for visual/performing arts? Is the class UC-approved?

According to [A-G courses | UC Admissions](http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/freshman/requirements/a-g-requirements/index.html#arts) , getting a 3 or higher on the AP music theory test fulfills the visual and performing arts requirement at UC.
