Question on honors, preferred admissions, and 3-year Ross.

<p>My first question is, what is the difference between the preferred admissions program and the 3-year Ross School application? Both start on your second year in the university, so what exactly distinguishes the two applications? Are you allowed to apply to both?</p>

<p>Also, I've just been accepted into the honors program. All things considered, am I allowed to be part of the honors for only one year and then go to the Ross School for the rest of my 3 years?</p>

<p>they are the same thing, its just preferred admits aren't going to have to worry about applying their freshman year as far as i understand it.</p>

<p>and even with PA, they still have to worry about getting a 3.3GPA. According to Mich, not getting accepted PA will have no effect on your chances if you apply after freshman year (so yes, you can apply to both).</p>
