I've noticed for some classes, they may be two days a week in a certain building and time, and a third day they are in a completely different building and time slot. Is there something unique about those odd days?

It could be a discussion class.

yea most classes that have an extra shorter day…you most of time spend time with TA and students talking about the material. -.-

ive had this at my university for history class. physics, biology

it is annoying since they take attendance most of time. and almost always not beneficial (to me at least…especially for hardcore fact-cramming courses like bio)

where did you find the course schedules?
i found what classes their offering and such…but is there a link which shows you when each class meets?

[Office of the University Registrar](Office of the University Registrar)

Go to Course Listings under the respective terms for the schedules.
