Question on Intervals [Math IIC]

<p>(2,5) is 2>x>5 NOT inclusive of 2 right? And this is a closed interval right?</p>

<p>2<x<5. It doesn't include 2 or 5.</p>

<p>This is an open interval... Closed interval is with square brackets [2,5]
and as llpitch pointed out, (2,5) is 2<x<5 and not what you wrote.</p>

<p>LOL,.. the first graph is wrong. The second one is the correct answer ‘cos it is bounded between -5 and 5 but never touches either.</p>
