Question on listing extracurriculars on the application

<p>So the application requires that I give the name/description of the EC, and the weeks/hours per week I put into it. What do I put for stuff like clubs where we may only meet once a month, or activities with a very irregular schedule?
Should I just leave them out and submit them within a resume?</p>

<p>If that’s the case, they probably aren’t very important and don’t need to go on the application. Plus, too much of that sort of thing looks like padding, which doesn’t bode well for admission. </p>

<p>Think of it this way:</p>

<p>You’re giving a prospective student a tour of your high school. He or she asks what you do in your free time. You have 45 seconds. Go!</p>

<p>They’re not looking for you to recount every single thing you ever did or account for every single hour.</p>
