<p>Yeah... as the decision is getting near and near, I'm getting really scared. I know this is kinda pointless at this point, but I'm just VERY nervous right now and this seems like the only way I can relieve this stress.</p>
<p>Me: Male international student (I live in Atlanta, GA. However, I'm here with visa, so no SSN)
Asian (Korean)
SAT: Math:740 Reading:690 Writing: 590
SAT2: Math 2:730 Physics:730
GPA: 3.5(weighted): I know it's very bad, huge upward trend though...
4AP total (Physics AB, Statistics, Macro and Micro econ which is a semester each, Psychology)</p>
<p>Rec: they seemed ok, all positive things.</p>
<p>Essay: I think it was great, I wrote about my experience with activism.</p>
<p>Clubs: I joined about 7 clubs in my freshmen year, but had to quit in the middle of year because I moved.

<p>Out of school activities: A student reporter in local Korean newspaper company
A citizen reporter in a Korean internet news company</p>
<p>Awards: 3rd place in Regional writing contest held by National Unification Council.
(it's a Korean organization in USA) got a small scholarship with this award. </p>
<p>Major-looking forward to major in Mechanical Engineering.</p>
<p>PS- My concern is my GPA and my international student status (and low class rank due to that GPA) is my SAT score good enough to help that GPA? and does the international student status hurt my chance?</p>
