So, I'll be taking Physics 4BL in summer session C. I looked at the course description, and it lists Physics 1C as a corequisite. I won't be taking 1C until fall, so I'm wondering if 1C is absolutely necessary for 4B, or is it simply recommended you take them at the same time. Assuming I don't take them at the same time, will the lab be impossible, is the material learnable, or do the things in 1C not matter in 4B? Can anyone who's taken 4B give me some insight on this plz?

The final lab or two uses 1C material, but I took 4BL without 1C (and took EE1 instead of 1C, so I never ended up actually learning that material anyway…) and I did fine. You just need to know how to use the equations and make sure you can reason about your graphs. Nothing about that lab is terribly difficult; you just have to put in the time to be complete in your reports.
