Question on pre-reqs.

<p>Hey, quick question about transferring to a UC and the pre-req. By the time Fall 2009 ends, I would have 31 units completed with ~3.6 GPA. My major is 'Computer Science and Engineering' and I would finish all the pre-reqs by Spring 2010.</p>

<p>Would I be able to apply for UCLA or other UC's for Fall 2010? My understanding is that you can get accepted even if you haven't completed the full pre-req's yet but what I couldn't find out is what is the minimum amount of units you must have to be considered.</p>

<p>In essence, I'm asking how do people transfer in 1 year if the application is due even before the first semester ends.</p>

<p>You need at least 60units to transfer as a junior. These units need to be completed by spring semester before you transfer for fall 2010. </p>

<p>So you need to finish 60units by spring 2010.</p>

<p>I’m not 100% sure what you’re asking. But you can APPLY with only 30 units, but you have to show that you intend to finish the full 60 before you transfer (and you have to do it or your acceptance would probably be rescinded)</p>
