<p>Does anyone know if sending in the app dec 11th for scholarship consideration help at all, or will it be harder to get in becuase the pool of applicants will be a lot stronger. OR do they just take all of the applications once the second deadline is over and group which wants scholarships from those that dont. </p>
<p>If this is confusing does applying at the scholarship deadline help u, hurt u, or has no real effect.</p>
<p>it helps you in the sense that you're actually considered for merit scholarships, because if you apply in jan., you aren't considered for them. no matter which deadline you choose to apply to, you get the same consideration on your app. and the difficulty of getting in is the same</p>
<p>if you don't get the scholarship money then you're put into the regular pool. There's no risk in applying by the scholarship deadline.</p>
