Question on sending AP scores

I have a question. I read somewhere that if you send AP scores to one UC, that all of them will have access to it? Is this accurate?

I want to get as much stuff done now as possible before I get accepted (if I do). It took me 2 months to get my h.s. transcript, and I took my AP tests about 10 years ago lol.

I don't mind waiting but if the above is true, I just want to get it out of the way and off my checklist of things to send in.

You should only send the AP scores to the UC that has accepted you and to which you intend to enroll. As far as I know, the UCs do not share AP scores, since this is something you send AFTER you are admitted and SIR’ed.

Is there any way to send the AP scores by internet? I have a College Board account from taking the SAT’s…but I can’t find out how to send AP scores. Is the only way to do it to send it by phone? I might not know where my AP packet is anymore…the first time I sent my scores, to UCI, I just listed the school when I took the test…since I already knew I was accepted. Since I’m an UC student already and the AP scores apear on my transcript, do I still have to send them anyway?

Just email ap@collegeboard.com. They will answer all your questions

Not to take away from Lookin4ward’s original post, but will colleges accept AP test scores that have not been sent directly to them? I have a copy that are official and unopened that I had sent to me a few months ago to have on-hand for when they are needed. Thanks!

just take those to the school you want to kingdom. As long as they are sealed and unopened the records office will accept them.
