I submitted an addtional reccomendation and was wondering how princeton would recieve it. I had my school send it by mail but princeton said they do not track additional materials so I was wondering if I could send it some other way or if there were some way at all to confirm its receipt.

I sent an additional rec, too, and, honestly, you can just pray they receive it. As long as you make sure that the letter has your name, date of birth, high school, and common app ID (I might be missing one) and is clearly addressed to the admissions committee, then you should be fine. The only reason Princeton wouldn’t receive it is if the mail is never delivered. In that case, though, the person who wrote you the letter should be kind enough to let you know that the rec was returned.

Good luck.

I sent mine in by fax. You get a nice little confirmation fax paper that proves you sent it to the right number, too.

Hey could you tell me what number you sent it to/ the site where you saw the number?
