I am a junior right now and I am planning to take the SAT I in June and the SAT II math IC in may. I am planning to also retake the SAT I senior year and take SAT II Biology and SAT IIC. The problem that I am having is that I want to apply to John Hopkins on early decision, but I won't be able to do that because I could only take either my SAT I or the SAT subject test before the deadline for early decision. I can't take both before the deadline for early decision. The reason why I want to retake my SAT I is because I feel I won't do as well on the june SAT than the october SAT. I feel with more practice I would be able to raise my score. I must take SAT II Bio and math IIC and the SAT I senior year and apply to early decision. How can I make this possible?

May
Math IC
Biology

June
SAT I

October
SAT I

doubling-up on SAT IIs is not only more economical, but it makes for twice the enjoyable testing experience! gotta love those acorns.

also, 12pm midnight is the deadline for registering for the April SAT - take the SAT I just for the heck of it.

I think you are a bit confused about what is required to apply to Johns Hopkins University in terms of standardized tests. Please review this web site: http://apply.jhu.edu/faqs/testrequirements.html

The only test that is required is the SAT I (or ACT). SAT II exams are only recommended.

In addition, for applicants applying Early Decision next fall you have the April, May, June, and October dates to take your SAT I or SAT II exams. As well, you may take the November exams though there is no guarantee those scores would be considered with an ED application.

Speak with your guidance counselor - he/she should be able to provide a good plan for you.
