Hello. This might sound like a fairly obvious question, but I need some help because this is the first time that I’m using the Common App. I’m applying for transfer, and it is required for me to send in a mid-year report. For the mid-year report, after I get my professors to complete it, can I send it in myself, even if I waived my FERPA. Or do I give the form to my counselor or something and get him to send it on my behalf? Also, is it okay for me to make copies of the original so that I don’t have to make my professors sign off on 5 forms? IF SOMEONE CAN GET BACK TO ME ASAP, THAT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. Thanks.
Depending on the schools you’re applying to you can just submit the form electronically. Most schools have an email dedicated to for application documents. I had my professors sign one form and then scanned the original and emailed it to my schools. I’m not sure about if you mail in the form, you may want to ask the schools you’re applying to if they will accept a copy of the form rather than an original.
