Question on the Testing Section of Common app

Hi everyone.

I've taken 2 SAT tests as well as 4 SAT subject tests. I used CB's score choice while submitting my official score report. I sent 1 SAT and 3 SAT IIs to some schools, and sent all my scores to others that require a full reporting. But here comes a problem in Common App:

On the testing section on the common app, I filled out the times I've taken the SAT (twice) and my superscore. I also filled out 4 SAT subject tests that I wish to report. Then I submitted this version of Common App to the schools that received my 1 SAT and 3 SAT subjects scores.

Many say that your self-report must match the testing results that you send to each school.
Does the discrepancy between my self-reporting of SAT subject scores and my actual submission via CB matter? Is such a way of reporting fine?

Thanks a lot!

Also, please tell me whether the self-reported scores carry any importance in the admission process.

If the school accept score choice, they are not expecting to see all your scores. It does not need to match what you have self reported as long as there is no contradiction. Self report is optional as you send them the official scores.

As far as I know, the only instance when self reporting makes a difference is to speed the review processes at schools where good stats can lead directly to admission without a holistic review.

Many say that your self-report must match the testing results that you send to each school.

Who are the “many” that say this?
