So I'm really set on transferring next year to another college, but I'm not sure how the process works. I know I have to write essays, fill out the apps and the whole thing, but do I obtain a copy of a transcript and mail it to the college or do I have to get a college counselor to mail it. Basically what I'm asking is that in high school you had a counselor that sent your transcript, school file, etc. for you, I'm wondering if I have to take care of all of that by myself now or do I have to go to the Office of Admissions to do it for me?

ramen,
I'm moving your thread to the Transfer Students forum. You should go there and read the sticky thread at the top: Transfer Admissions 101

Oh I'm sorry about that, and thank you for your help I'll have to give it a quick read

You need to have the college you are attending now send the transcripts directly to the school you are transferring to. You can do this online at your schools website, do a search for transcripts and it will probably direct you to the right place.
