The e-bill is generated once a month. In July, the school assigned nonresident tutition to my account. And then the account has been updated in Aug 1, I only need to pay for resident tutition. However, it hasn't show up in the e-bill yet, the due date is coming up. What should I do?

Don’t pay the incorrect nonresident amount if you are certain you are now qualified for in-state tuition.

Look at the details in the ebill. It will have various fees listed plus the ten room and board payments. It will have a Nonresident Tuition Fee which you can back out of the amount due, and then you can back out the couple of hundred dollars difference between the Resident and NonResident Education Fee. I think it is 10,305 that is the total difference you will be removing from the amount due.

You do not pay the entire ‘balance’ as that will include the next nine monthly room and board charges, but you don’t pay those right now.

Go to Bearfacts > CARS > Quick Statement and pay the “Amount Due Now” balance.

to rider730 and cheeks,
so do u means that I should pay $3727.25 (what I should pay now) in the ebill? and ignore what the bill said? Thanks for clarifying…

Yes, ignore the ebill. Next month, you’ll get an updated ebill and the school will probably notify you if you need to pay anything extra.
