question on upward trendage

ok here we go ...how would top colleges look upon serious upward trendage like here we go

no honors 9th grade most B+'s: no honors 10th grade straight A's but obvoiusly i couldnt be in honors in 10th because its based on previous year performance so hoepfully theyll take that into account: all honors/ap's and straight A's 11th grade: all honors/ap's and straight A's all of however much the college is going to see in terms of semester;

ending gpa about :3.8 uw

as far as the rest of my app. is my sat/2's are all well above average and my ec's well above average as well...what do you guys think

bump,damn everything falls fast here

Upward trends are usually totally fine... some schools don't even look at 9th grade. I might have your college counselor or somebody mention the reason you couldn't take honors in 10th grade... I think it would help. Um...besides that, I think it really depends on where you're applying and your exact score ranges and your ECs. It's obviously a bit worse than straight As throughout, but most places understand that that's not always the world works. So while your grades aren't exactly a super-asset, I don't think they're a hindrance, either.

Trends matter more the lower the rank of the college. The top 30 haveway too many kids with great stats throughout to look at upward trends.
