Question on WUSTL ED...

Hello all. You could call me a new member as this is my first post but I"ve been reading discussion here for awhile. Anywho...

I'm seriously considering applying to WUSTL ED I for enrollemt in the Fall of 2006. However, I've heard that it's possible that they can admit you but make you start in January, instead of August, as the decision is binding. Is this true, and if yes, does anyone know how probable this is? I know it would serious make me reconsider enrolling as I would be sending them huge paychecks.

I wouldn't worry about it.

To the best of my knowledge, they only to this to RD candidates.

Yeah, I think they give you a choice if you want to do the January program or not.

Yeah, I seriously doubt they could make you enroll in the January Program. I did ED and I was accepted and I haven't heard of any other EDer having to do the January Program.

Thank you all for your help. I really appreciate it. And what a load off!

also, on the app they ask to to rank your top three colleges to be evaluated for. If your not accepted into your top pick, it is non-binding.

I'm sorry Mike, I don't quite understand what you mean.

Unlike some universities, you apply to a specific college at Wash U. Be it Art & Sci, Art, Engineering, Biz, whatever. They have an option if you want to be considered for a second college. So you would apply to the art school but would have biz as a backup. if you were accepted to biz (not your first choice) it is not binding.

Really? That's very intereting, I didn't know that. Thank you very much.
