QUESTION. please help, just quick.

So, if, at this point in the game, colleges are contacting me about my financial aid app being incomplete or slightly messed or something, does that imply that it’s gonna matter? like, does that indicate that i might be closer to admitted, because they’re caring about my financial aid stuff? i mean, if they knew i was a reject by now, they wouldn’t care about my finaid app because it wouldn’t matter anyway, right? and it’s getting close enough to decision-day that they (in the finaid office) might know what’s going on down in admissions and could be choosing who to expend their effort on based on who’s admitted… maybe?

any ideas?

In most cases, Financial Aid does not equal Admissions office. The processes are entirely separate, and the main motivation of the Financial Aid office prior to the release of freshman decisions is squaring away the aid for continuing students and making sure that all applicants who applied for aid will be considered for it in case they are accepted.

In other words, don't get your hopes up, but you never know.
