<p>I have been getting mixed messages. . . Are math 53/54 and 2 Political Science courses required, or are they just some of the options available for fulfilling requirements. Also, how early can one apply to be a public health major (requirement wise)? And how hard is it to be admitted into the PH major?</p>
<p>53 and 54 are NOT required. you only need them for the science-y majors. go with math 16a/16b if you’re doing that major.</p>
<p>you can apply as soon as you meet the lower div requirements and have 60 credits.</p>
<p>it’s harder to be admitted that most of the majors in L&S, since it’s impacted and all. As long as you keep your GPA up and have a good backup plan, you should be fine.</p>
