Question re: Cal State application and entering AP data

Like others here, I’m not exactly loving the Cal State “Apply” application. It’s a bit clunky, and the FAQs are somewhat limited in their helpfulness.

My question is for the section about entering Advanced Placement info. The application asks for AP Exams taken, but say I’ve taken a total of 3 exams up thru the end of my junior year, and am now enrolled in 4 more APs in senior year. Does Cal State just want me to input the 3 AP’s + scores I’ve received, or should I enter all 7 AP’s (including the 4 I’ll be tested on when May 2018 rolls around)?

It’s unclear, and I’m hearing different stuff from friends and even the guidance counselors at my school seem to be unsure. Anyone know? or at least willing to share what you input? Thx in advance.

When my son’s filled out the old CSU Mentor application, they listed their AP classes with scores and then listed the AP tests they planned to take in the spring of Senior year.

AP test scores are not required for an admission decision. They are only for college credit at the school you ultimately enroll.
