Question re CLEP US History - essay needed?

<p>Does UA require you to take the essay part of the Clep US History I or II test?</p>

I see it says there are 120 questions in 90 minutes. And here is the US II: [History</a> of the United States II | CLEP](<a href=“http://clep.collegeboard.org/exam/history-us-ii]History”>History of the United States II: 1865 to the Present – CLEP | College Board). Same deal.</p>

<p>i did a search on CC and another college came up. can’t remember which. that person said for us history clep their school required essay. maybe they meant the ACT. it really didn’t make sense but wanted to make sure. thanks!</p>

<p>CLEP tests are scored immediately and results are given to test takers immediately after each test. No CLEP essays that I have ever heard of. Maybe AP History test has an essay? UA requires the writing portion of the ACT test.</p>
