Question re: SAT Subject Tests - whether to submit?

Would appreciate any advice on the following scenario:

Applying ED to an Ivy League school.

Scores sent already:
SAT: 1,550 - not super scored.

SAT math 2: 800

New subject test scores - not yet sent:
SAT math 1: 770
Chem: 680

Said university “recommends but does not require” two subject tests.

Do you send the new subject test scores, or not?

I appreciate it’s hard to answer without knowing entire applicant situation. For sake of discussion, applicant is very strong in all other areas and the 680 is definitely the “low point” of an otherwise very strong application. And, most schools area not big fans of math 1 and 2 subject tests.

Thank you.

Yeah, taking M1 after having an 800 in M2 was a waste of time and money. No reason to send, as it’s duplicative.

News to me. They not fans of having M1 and M2 count as 2 Subject Tests though.

As for chem, idk what to tell you. Without seeing the rest of the package, it’s hard to say. If it were 700, I’d say send it, but I’m on the fence about a 680.

Sorry, I probably confused u the way I asked the question re: math 1 & 2. What I meant to say is that my understanding is that most colleges want to see one math test or the other but will not give credit for BOTH math 1 and 2 as two separate subject tests. Agreed?

Agreed
